This is very old. I drew/painted this in 2008, and had very little attention on dA and mangabullet because people pretty much thought i copied over the original movie screenshot haha, which is flattering, but since the rest of my artwork was not on the same level as this, only a few people actually praised it (and i really appreciated any compliments i got).
But yeah no, i actually drew this from scratch, and it took me 2-3 months. I actually felt (and still feel) super proud of this, even if now that i look at it, there are some things i’d improve/change in it, but well, for Open Canvas 4, and my lack of pic editing skills at the time, it looks alright.
I’m actually kind of sad because i think this is like the best i’ve done ever in my life, and i feel like i can’t create something this good and complete again. Maybe some day. It’s just really hard to go back to realism again.
